The Navy’s Professional Military Knowledge Eligibility Exam (PMK-EE) mobile application is a comprehensive tool for Sailors preparing for and taking the required exam as part of the enlisted advancement process for E4 through E7 paygrades.

The revised version of PMK-EE features 100 questions divided into five sections: Career Information, Leadership & Character, Naval Heritage, Professionalism, and Warfighting & Readiness.

To pass the PMK-EE, Sailors need to achieve a score of 80 percent or higher on each section. If they fail a section, they must retake it. Additionally, to be eligible to take the Navy-Wide Advancement Examination (NWAE) for the next higher pay grade, Sailors must achieve an overall passing score of 80 percent or higher on the PMK-EE.

The app conveniently bookmarks the last completed section if a Sailor exits before finishing. This allows them to pick up where they left off when they reopen the app.

 <li>Tailored to specific paygrades: E4, E5, E6, and E7</li>
 <li>Accessible on any compatible device with topics and bibliography content displayed</li>
 <li>Randomly generates exam questions every time a Sailor concludes a section</li>
 <li>Allows for unlimited retakes of any section until a passing score of 80 percent is achieved</li>
 <li>Sailors can submit their course completion certificate to the Navy Training Management Planning System (NTMPS) directly through the app</li>
 <li>PMK-EE is a component of the Sailor 2025 rating modernization effort aimed at enhancing the Sailor experience.</li>
</ul>

Please note: To submit a course completion from the app, users must have an email account on their mobile device.
