The Navy’s Professional Military Knowledge Eligibility Exam (PMK-EE) mobile application is a comprehensive tool for Sailors preparing for and taking the required exam as part of the enlisted advancement process for E4 through E7 paygrades.

The revised version of PMK-EE features 100 questions divided into five sections: Career Information, Leadership & Character, Naval Heritage, Professionalism, and Warfighting & Readiness.

To pass the PMK-EE, Sailors need to achieve a score of 80 percent or higher on each section. If they fail a section, they must retake it. Additionally, to be eligible to take the Navy-Wide Advancement Examination (NWAE) for the next higher pay grade, Sailors must achieve an overall passing score of 80 percent or higher on the PMK-EE.

The app conveniently bookmarks the last completed section if a Sailor exits before finishing. This allows them to pick up where they left off when they reopen the app.
